Have you ever lost an important piece of jewelry? I lost my ring

Oh so sorry to hear this. Hopefully you are just looking too hard and it is right there under your nose. I really do hope it is found espeically since it is a family keepsake. I have some of my mother's jewelry, nothing expensive or fancy but that is not the point, like you say, it is a keepsake.

The strap had come loose on my watch that my mum had bought me, it was more sentamental that I had lost it that I was upset! I loved the watch and it was important because my mum had bought it for me one Christmas, I remember having it on at the gym but when I came home I couldn't remember taking it off, so I went to the gym to ask if it had been handed it, sadly not, I was real upset about it and had to accept that I had lost it, not many people are honest and if anyone would have found it would have probably kept it. I went and got myself another watch, but it wasn't the same I missed my old watch and for three weeks resigned myself that I had lost it, nothing more I could do, then when I was tidying up I happened to notice something brown under the bed and low and behold there it was my beloved watch! I was overjoyed and told mum straight away, I was so damn relieved, straight away I went and got a new strap for the watch so I could wear it without worrying!

My parents bought me a really nice pearl ring for graduation. I liked it but I'm not really a jewelry person so I never really wore it that often. Lately I was looking for it but I couldn't find it. I must have lost it but since I wear it so infrequently I don't even know when or where.
