Ebay or Craigslist?

Which do you think is best? Craigslist or Ebay? I just used Craigslist for the first time the other day. I needed to sell my Nintendo Wii. I had a buyer the same night I listed it, we met in a public place, I gave her the item and she gave me cash. I could not have asked for a more seamless transaction. And I did not have to give craigslist a dime for helping me make the sale! I think craigslist will now be my preference over Ebay!

www.craigslist.com Then you select whatever area you are from You can buy, sell, and it also has places for job listings, and even places to find freebies that people want to get rid of.

That is true. Craigslist is not just selling or buying but also seeking and hiring for job/s. Through craigslist, it is where I found a great job! I am currently working with great people.

But you don't have the ease of selling on Ebay.

I like eBay better generally. For most items I find Craigslist to be a hassle because people want to come see the item, waste your time, then not buy the item. Sometimes people don't even show up when they say they will. I do like that you don't have to pay on Craigslist and you can do a local transaction rather than shipping the item. I sold my violin on Craigslist because on eBay they don't go for enough money generally either. But most things, I'd rather sell them on eBay to save myself from the hassle.
