A recent news item said there was a rise in the number of guns being bought after Barrack Obama was elected, did you see or hear of it too, maybe you can help me analyse the situation.Well I am wondering what could be the reason for this.Barrack is known for his charm and his good foreign policy ideas while John Mcain's strong suit was national security.Consequently I am wondering if this is a reason for person buying guns ,thinking that with such a president there is likely to be an increase in number of attacks from threats both local and foreign.Consequently each man has to secure his space. Or could it be the old race card being played again and white persons are thinking that now with a black president ,many blacks will feel more empowered and hence whites need to fortify themselves against what might be a surge in black attacks. That is why I need persons who have heard or seen this headline to contribute to this discussion, preferably by providing the statistics for who is buying these guns.

I would not specaulte on that at this point in time. Those are just news and needs to be verified. Let's just wait for him to be seated in the White House and tell me if they are really making any difference at all. I really do not believe that Barack would totally favour the black community because I can see that he has to support both colors as he came from a white race as well not pure black race so I guess he should be a good leader and those that spread this news are just insecured about that.
