Will You Get Up and Move?

I don't get to go to the movies that often. When I do I want to be able to sit there and enjoy it from start to finish. Every once in a while though I wind up sitting behind someone who either has a constant cough or is making some other bodily noise throughout the whole movie. Most of the times I'll just get up and go to a different seat. What do you do in a situation like that?

Under such situation, I normally change the seat, or even go to the extreme of leaving the movie hall.

That's the best thing to do I think. If you leave the movie theater because of it just make sure you tell the manager to get your money back.

If there are seats available, I will do the same thing as you do. But if it's the only seat available for me, I'll will talk to that person politely.

I've never had that happen thankfully! But I have had kids that throw ice, popcorn, etc. kick the seats and other annoying things. I usually tell them to knock it the *f* off. And generally, if their parents have any respect at all they move their kids away from the crazy lady who is willing to drop the f bomb in front of a 5 year old. But I've found that if you don't throw in the f bomb, you just get told not to try to discipline their children. If I'm paying $10 to see a movie, no kids get to mess that up. I don't even watch movies that kids would like generally either so I don't get why there are so many kids acting like this. If I acted like that as a kid in public I would have certainly been smacked down on the floor by my parents. They didn't need strangers to discipline us, they could do it themselves.

if there are seat available, i would do the same and move away but the cinemas here are often crowded so i do not have much of a choice except to finish the movie in the same seat throughout. but i am still able to focus on the movie and enjoy them. no point getting too upset over this issue and spoil my day because there may be some day when u are in the same situation too
