Sweet potatoes were on sale for 20 cents a pound at Walmarts, how

All we got for this Thanksgiving was a can of yams since it will just be me and my husband who eat them and I will just eat a couple of bites of them. I usually put them in a pan and put butter and brown sugar on them and heat them up in the oven. The fresh sweet potatoes I bake and then when ready to eat I put butter on mine.

I just mash my sweet potatoes and add them to regular mashed potatoes. . Sometimes I'll just peel them, slice them and throw them into a pan with a little butter and sugar. I let the sugar carmalize and then add just enough milk or cream to make a nice syrup. DCMerkle

That is a great price. I only like sweet potatoes in a pie. Many of my family members enjoy them. They are not my favorite.

I bought some yams for free, I went to albertsons to get yams (which are the same as sweet potatoes) w picke up the yams with out other groceries and teh cashier rang them up as sweet potatoes which was a dollar more than yams. We went to the customer service counter and he refunded our full price for them. so we got them for free.

I like bake sweet potatoes which I haven't had in a long time. I like sweet potato pie and I am going to prepare some of those for Thanksgiving.
