Finally changed my avatar

For months and months and months, maybe I exaggerate but you get the point, I have been telling you guys I was going to change my avatar here to my arrest photo in D.C. Bear in mind that I didn't get arrested for anything stupid, I got arrested trying to secure housing for disabled folks who are currently in nursing homes. The reason there are three police in this photo is because I made them push my powerchair. A lot of us do that when they arrest us, especially if they're being jerks to able-bodied people and throwing them around like rag dolls. They can't do that to us it looks bad. So generally we say, "If you're going to be stupid, you're going to push a chair. If you're nice to us, we'll drive it ourselves, you'll be much happier." Older D.C. police officers know this and generally comply, but for my arresting officer, I got some overly macho hot-head who, before he arrested me, threw around my friend Jeremiah, even though his arm was broken. I'm sorry but I don't tolerate that and I didn't have any other tool of revenge at the moment. Happily he calmed down after pushing, or trying to push (he ran himself over). My 500 pound wheelchair and 200 pound body up a hallway that was very long, and I'm sure seemed longer to him. I bet he won't treat anyone else like that! Live and learn, and we'll be back next year. It's funny - you only have to do that once - and the next time they learn. You would think they would tell each other!
