Since I have learned graphics design, I have been using Adobe Photoshop. I have tried using Corel's product but I have difficulties doing what I needed to do. As for Photoshop it is more user friendly and the power to do anything my work requires. Since that time, I did not shift to any other image editing software. How about you guys? Please share your insights on this matter.

Photoshop is raster based. Illustrator is vector based. A balance of these two seem to do the trick for me.

Definitely right. Actually I am using both Illustrator and Photoshop for my graphics work. For logo design, I use Illustrator and for photo editing stuff, I use Photoshop. Both software works great.

I've used both and I definitely prefer Adobe Photoshop. It's just more professional and I believe you can do more in it. I don't think much of Corel to be honest.

I used to use all the Corel products and became very familiar with them. But now I mostly use PhotoShop because I find that it can do more. But I have to admit, I have older versions of the Corel programs and I have PhotoShop CS2, so it's kind of an unfair advantage.

I am more comfortable with Photoshop since I started photo editing using it. I am not familiar with corel but perhaps, I will be ok with corel and get by with it.

I prefer Adobe Photoshop. Im using Photoshop from a long time and Im familiar with its behavior. I never used Corel, so I can't say anything about Corel. Adobe Photoshop give us a variety of plugins and filters. Its easy to use according me. We can retouch any image very smoothly with the help of Adobe Photoshop. So I prefer Adobe Photoshop.
