Just wanted to extend condolences to any member here who were personally affected by the Mumbai attacks today, especially those who reside in India. And to everyone interested, please feel free to share your ideas on the subject title above. Thanks.

I am very sorry that India has to go through this. I am also glad that I know about it, but that is a mixed blessing, by letting the world know what is going on the terrorist get wanted publicity. Anyway our CNN says it's over so blessings to you.

Hi savypat, Thanks for commenting. I wish I could agree with you, though, in saying that it's already ended. But we also have CNN here, and it's still on. There are still hostages, and the number of wounded has risen since yesterday. Add to that, over 100 people were killed. Also, I didn't start this discussion to glorify terrorism at all; on the contrary, I simply wanted to get people's take on terror in general. Thanks again.

Terrorism in some form or another is probably as old as mankind itself. Mankind is a mixed bag. There are the good, the bad and the ugly. There is no way that mankind can end it, because there will always be the oppressed and the oppressors. It will never end until God himself steps in and puts an end to it. He will also be obliged to use force to end it.
