We all know about George W. Bush's refusal to eat broccoli saying, "I do not like broccoli. And I haven't liked it since I was a little kid and my mother made me eat it. And I'm President of the United States and I'm not going to eat any more broccoli. " Are there any vegetables you just can't eat?

There are several vegetables that I do not like and I don't eat. I do not like green peppers at all. I will not eat them. I don't really care for red or yellow peppers, but in some things I can eat them.

Oh yes! There's one.I really don't like carrots...period. And that's my biggest mystery because I have outgrown my dislike of okra. Hated okra when I was a child, but now, I really like them even if they're slimy. But with carrots, I can't bring myself to eat them. Except when my 5 year old son is in front of me. I have no choice but to eat them. I don't want him to think why I'm making him eat his vegetables, but I don't do the same.

I think I eat almost all vegetables, except for bamboo shoots (it has a funny smell and taste!)

There are very few vegetables that I can't eat, though I don't like some vegetables prepared in certain ways. For instance, I love eggplant when it's sliced thin and fried, but can't eat it in moussaka. I don't like raw zucchini, but love it steamed with butter and pepper.
