installation windows xp

Please help me! I do not success to install windows xp, when installation arrives to goal the pc jams, the screen becomes blue and it gives an error to me: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL I do not know what to do! Thanks to anyone help me!

Microsoft say: "This error usually occurs after the installation of a buggy device driver, system service, or BIOS." The article relates to Windows 2000 but is also applicable to XP and possibly Vista. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms854226.aspx You may need to go through the installation again, making sure that you are selecting the correct drivers for your hardware. There is also a possibility that your installation disk is corrupted or that something didn't copy successfully because your hard disk has an error.

I have made a verification of the disc, but the computer gives the same error to me even if tries to install an other operating system. Can be a problem of ram this?
