Do U Bathe/Dress When U Get Out Of Bed,(Early Mornings)?

When I get out the bed in the mornings I go and make me a cup of coffee and get on the computer and do a little MyLotting and maybe a few other pay sites. All this is done in my night clothes. If I don't have any plans I am in my night clothes way into mid day. I have a sister that gets up in the mornings and take her bath and put clothes on the first thing and she is good to go for the day. She gets very annoyed with me because I don't do this. When she calls me to go someplace with her I have to take a bath and get dressed. Do you get out of bed /bathe/dress before you do anything else? Or are you like me?

Never have time for a bath in the mrnings and we don't have a shower. I like to get up quickly as the heat is never on when I get up, get washed and dressed quickly and then come on down and put the heat on and turn everything else on. Weekends I get washed and dressed after breakfast

Coffee cup - Coffee in the morning is the only way to get me up
I have a morning routine that I follow everyday. I don't think it's by habit but more of convenience. I get at the latest 6am every day of the week. This is my internal clock's fault. I just can't sleep in. I always have to take a shower after getting up as it helps me wake up and start the morning off not so groggy. I also have the close that I'm going to wear ready from the night before so there's no fumbling around trying to find and decide that morning. And then there's the coffee, I always need a few cups. I think I'm addicted. After the coffee, I'm good to go

I normally don't get dressed unless I need to leave the house. I will sometimes change my clothes in the morning, but not into clothes that I would be comfortable leaving the house in. I change into some casual clothes like sweats and a t shirt. That is basically what I wear to bed, but it is clean.

Hi Chevee, Now that I am staying at home, I tend to be in my night dress until 9 or 10 am in the morning when I am hook up doing things online but can't go beyond that! I am always ready also to go whenever friends will give me a call and invite me! But, when I am tired or feel sick, tend to be just enjoy my morning and afternoon without changing! LOL!

If I am going to be at home for the day, like today, it is cold, windy, sleeting and snowing a bit, I do stay in my gown.. I have held jobs all of my life where I had to get up and take my shower, fix my hair, do my makeup all before finishing my first cup of coffee, so now when I don't have to get out and go early, I do stay in my nightclothes.. I also have on a long, warm, robe now because we just got back in from taking our "little miss precious" out in the snow.. She is our "Queen of the World" little dog who we have just found out that she does not like the snow nor the cold at all.. Anyway, I am more comfortable when working around the house in my comfortable night clothes.. Showers and other responsibilities come later in the day, I don't get many lazy days but I do enjoy them when I do get them..

It depends. On days my husband is off and I don't exactly know what we might do, I get up, showered and dressed quicker. On regular days, I'm like you. I do some stuff then take my shower and everything else.

Well I eat breakfast first and do my morning exercise before I take a bath in the morning. After eating breakfast that's the only time I take a bath. When I don't have to do anything for the day i still take a bath and ave a change of clothes before mid morning.

I'm like you Chevee. I don't get dressed right away when I get out of bed. The first thing that enters my mine is to get on the computer and check my email account for payments from my online programs, then I write 10 articles to send traffic to my blog, then I hop right on mylot and start key tapping away. Oh yea, lately I been checking to see if you or any of my loyal friends had started any discussions or not, if so, I will send a reply. Finally around 1:00pm I'll take shower/bath and get dressed.

There was a time when it seemed like I had to go take a shower first thing in the morning. I can't imagine always doing that though, now. There are some days where it will even get dark before I take a shower and get dressed, though we have late nights sometimes. I have to bathe before I leave the house, though on days when I am not, it is usually a few hours before I shower and dress for the day. The first couple of hours of my day are spent with my partner and assisting him in getting redy for work. After he leaves, it is atleast a couple of hours.

sometimes, depending on my schedule. if i have the whole day with me, i'll just have my nighties on but when i need to do some stuff i will start the day right by taking a shower and making myself fresh. it depends on the mood of a person nothing in particular i think. happy mylotting!

I work every day so each morning I get out of bed, turn on the Tv, make a cup of coffee and then shower and dress up to get to work. I'm very lazy that's why I wake up an hour earlier to get to work, although I live five minutes away from work. :P

I have a daughter the same way, she gets up with the kids gets them off to school, and goes back to bed for awhile, when she gets up for the second time she takes her bath and gets dressed, hair done, makeup on, nails done. And if she has no where to go she sits there that way, but she said she is ready if something does come up. Don't be without a way to the store and need something cause it will be a 2 hour wait while she gets ready to go get you a gallon of milk. Me I get up and get some coffee, come to the computer to check email, and MYLOT, and if it is like to day when the roads are iced over and no where to go, I don't get dressed. I am comforable in my pj's and who is coming over, no one. She also gets mad if she calls and then I have to get ready, but I can do it in a short time not 2 hours. She has learned to let me know ahead of time that she wants to go somewhere and then I will be ready. I am 61 years old, been through the route of having to get up get dressed and go our to work for many years, now that I am disabled I dont' want to be rushed at anything, I do it at my speed. If I need something from the store like a gallon of milk I throw on my clothes and go get it, in and out, I'm sure there is no one in there interested in whether I have had a bath or done my hair before I came to get it. MY daughter says people look at you and judge you by the way you look. Well if they want to judge me when I'm getting a gallon of milk cause I don't have my makeup on then they don't have much of a life but to look down on others. I agree with you, do it when you feel like it, if she is in such a rush to go somewhere then let her go. Tell her to let you know and you will be ready.

I sit in my night clothes all day if I do not have to work or go out for engagements. It makes things easier for me to fall back into bed when I feel like it. My mom used to nag at me to wash up and change then so I can start the day on a happy note but these days she has become more like me. Really, I don't see why I need to change if I am staying indoors all day and no one is going to see me.

i am an indie and seeking online writing jobs on the internet. so i dont need to wake up and get ready for work. i am more like you. i get up, make my coffee, and sit at my computer, in my pajamas and robe, trying to work. i dont change unless i need to go out somewhere, whether to the gym to work out or to the store or the mall, or meet someone outside. i usually take a shower late at night after i return from the gym and before bedtime.

The first thing i do on getting up is to brush my teeth, have a cuppa, go to the loo and then have a bath. This habit has been with me since childhood and continues till today in my retired age. I feel unclean if i don1t go through this routine. After my bath and breakfast i feel fresh and energetic and ready to face the world and i can face any emergency that comes after that. Your sister is absolutely right and i think you should follow her advice and change your habits.See what a change will come over you and for the better too.

Sure I do that, right after, mylot, breakfast, coffee, talking to husband and being on the phone. This is what retirement means, you get time to be just yourself, in jamys and robe. Enjoy
