I am tired of religous types askign me and pleading with my about non belief of God. "Why don't you believe in God?" "What is wrong with you?" Do you want the truth? Well, it's because I have never seen him, heard him, talked to him, etc. Those are my reasons. But it's really none of your business anyway because it's my life. Christianity preaches tolerence, but I have yet to see it happen. Tolerating others means letting them live thier life without looking down on them. Everyone is entitled to thier own beliefs, and we should not have to explain them. I don't go around asking Christians why they do believe when there is absolutely no proof.

I think your a very angry person just by reading this discussion. You are lashing out at Christians, but they are more tolerant of you not believing than this discussion. You should really look deep down and find some meaning and truth. You have a right to live how you want and no one should look down on you for that, but whether you believe in Jesus or not you should not be filled with such anger. Don't be so mad because you have not seen him. One day you will. We will stand in front of him for judgement. I will pray for you, but that does not mean that I look down on you. If you think that Christians are looking down on you then you must feel like we have something you dont or that we are better. I certainly do not feel that I look down on anyone I just live my life and hope that everyone will get to enjoy heaven as I and many others will.

Although i'm not athiest i can understand where you're coming from. Religious people are sometimes very pushy, nosey & overbearing. It isnt any of their business what your beliefs are & why they are your beliefs. Have a wonderful night. Best wishes.

Thank you Minerc. I wish there were more people like you out there. The whole point I am trying to make is that everyone is entitled to thier own beliefs as long as no one pushes them on me.

No matter what your beliefs are and no matter why you believe the we you do. It is your choice and no one elses. I am a Christian and I do not and would never look down on you for the way you believe. God Bless you

Congradulations...you've just met someone that not only believes in God but is tolerant of ppl that don't. I look at it like this...I believe in God but that doesn't mean everyone else has to. You don't...that's your choice. Whether someone believes or doesn't really isn't up to anyone other than that person. I'm sure there are things you believe in that I don't...it's not a big deal. I don't know why anyone would upset that you don't believe...it doesn't have any affect on their beliefs. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG AND TRUST IN GOD**

I agree with you... I am tired of people acting like since I don't have a religion it's not intolerant to harass me about my lack of belief. Luckily I mostly only run into it online, because the people I know in the real world tend to be intelligent, accepting, and not obsessed with spreading their own religion. The most I have had to deal with is all these discussions on mylot, which I guess isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things.
