What myLot means?

I'm not sure about the exact reason behind the name but I have ideas about it. First of all, the word 'lot' can be used like 'group' as in 'group of friends' or 'group of people'. This is My group, you see? Or, it could also be like "My lot in life", only shortened to myLot. Who knows? I doubt the myLot gurus will ever divulge the real meaning behind the name. They tend to be a bit evasive about stuff like that.

I think it kind of sounds corny and I to have often wondered where the name came from. So I will be happy to see someone with an idea post. Glad you asked.

Well, as i remember when Crash made an appearance here... someone asked why this site was given the name mylot... i learned that mylot is not short for anything nor does it symbolize the one who created this site... it was simply to replace the original name they intented... which was "thelot"... but the name was bought by a certain tv company to be use as the official name of the website of the reality show "On The Lot"... Honestly speaking... i prefer mylot... rather than thelot...

i have also wondered how they came up with the name MYLot! I have no real answer. Maybe it is like this is your Lot and this is My-Lot??? I hope that we really do find the answer it would be awesome!
