Is Christmas just for kids?

I decided to start this discussion since we are now in the month of December.Everytime that Christmas season is approaching, I observe that some people are not so excited. I sometimes ask people about what they feel in which we really cannot deny the fact that the most important of the year is coming. Majority of them answered me Christmas is just for kids.I also felt that they are not so excited about Christmas. Is Christmas just for kids only?
Obviously, I can see so many kids are more active during this season. I can see so many of them gathering in front of a number of houses and singing Christmas carols. During Christmas,I can see all have happy faces.I can hear their joyous laughs. Almost all of them, never stop comparing the gifts they had received with the other gifts of their playmates. All of them are busily playing with others, wearing their new clothes and shoes. I once experienced this as a child. Everytime Christmas is coming, I cannot help to wait for my mom to buy me new clothes and shoes. But as for the present situation in our country, I just learn to make myself satisfied with what I have.

I do not think that Christmas is just for kids. I think that christmas is for anyone who believes in it and has the spirit of the season in their hearts.
I think that christmas can be enjoyable for everyone if we look into our own lives and realize all the joyful things that we have around us. Then during the christmas season, we can celebrate these joys.
I must say that christmas may be more enjoyable as a child because of the 'magic'. I think that it may lose some of its appeal when we stop believing in that magic. I also think that if we keep the real reason of the season in our hearts, we will be able to retain the christmas joy.

When I was a kid, I think so that I am happier compare to my parents and other elders. Maybe because kids are always the one who receive more gifts rather than adult.Thanks for responding.
