Be it the company one, be it the private one? Are you going to one? Or are you hosting one? I am thinking because of the bad economic situation, are we having less xmas parties?

Yeap, we're having it in our school this 3rd week of December. And maybe also our family will have it too. I think, even the world is facing financial crisis, it doesn't stop people from celebrating the spirit of Christmas.

I always attend my works christmas party for the sole reason the company are footing the bill so I may as well go out and enjoy myself. This year we're going to a casino and their even throwing in a free bet as well and a lesson on how to use the tables before we start. We also get a five course meal which i'm hoping I will have room for. Am looking forward to it.

I don't think the company i work for will be having a christmas party... we did not have one last year... and my boss did not express any interest for a party this year... well, that is what i get for having an 81 year old boss who never goes out of her home... so i guess i will just take advantage of the free time i will have to spend it with my daughter... and just enjoy the family gathering we always have every Christmas... I will be cooking Lasagna...

I don't think the economy has anything to do with it. Some people live to party and some don't. I always loathed and detested the obligatory work parties and for me any party is work. I'd rather just hang out.
