Can you really knock a giant out with a single stone?

Can it even hurt a giant even if it hit any of his vital parts? I heard somewhere that Goliath is just 8 feet tall. So is there a possibility?

Absolutely. Remember, the sling was a very effective ranged weapon before the bow came along and replaced it with better effectivess at distance. Slingers regularly made up a part of many armies and were lethal. If it can kill someone in armour, it can most definitely kill most things.
Oh, and Goliath's size is irrelevant, to be honest. That's to show that he was a formidable opponent in melee - but then David zonked him at range. Bwahaha!
Kashigurl's response made me laugh. Hmm...we'll see if it's true. Let's wait till Sunday, i'll watch if Manny Pacquiao will win over his match with Oscar dela Hoya.

Now i won't contrast a biblical story. Perhaps, that giant is our biggest problem, just hold on to God, our only armor is our faith in Him, then we will all surpass that giant problem we are facing.
