A Man Walking a Monkey

Today I saw a man walking a monkey on the streets of Lagos, Nigeria. It is pretty interesting and unique. I have never seen this before, but I'm sure in Africa it is common. What do you think?

Hello kdhartford. I have seen a few times in our country with some men walking their moneys on the street, but when I say that I see them doing so is mainly for them to make some money by doing something acrobatic as a way of making a living. You know, moneys are very clever creatures and can do many things we humans do. I love to see monkeys doing some performances. They are great.

I'm not sure this guy was using the monkey as a street act in order to make money...he was just walking the monkey, like I walk my dog.

i think he has difference in the foot. so that he can not normal walk . may be also the foot bone less strong to underpin heavy his body. at my country i never seen like that.

Thanks for your comments. I appreciate them. Yeah, I'm sure that they have to be trained to do it, it probably is not natural for the monkey.

Hello kdhartford. I have seen a few times in cities a man having his monkey doing some performances as a way of making a living. You know, monkeys are clever creatures and can do a lot of things we humans do. They are very good at imitating us, so cute.
