I just wrote a thing on helium about MMO character names - I couldn't resist the title and figured I'd do an article. It's a very interesting subject; the way people choose their online toon name, whether they're RPers or comedians or whatever. Either way, I wondered whether you choose your toon names from existing fiction, as a joke or if you have standard names you use. My fantasy RPG ones are often the same in any game (my own ones), but I've been using mostly humorous names in City of Heroes for my supertoons.
