I am sure it would take a lot of adjustment coming back into society, but I am also sure I would want to go back to the same kind of environment I was living in before I was lost on the island. I wouldn't want to change my original life that drastically I don't think. But then this has never happened to me so I really can't tell.

I do better with lots of people around at all times. I am good at knowing how to stick to myself if that's what I want to do but I feel the safest and most secure knowing there is someone there if I need help in a bad situation.

I would definitely be taken aback being with so many people after two years of being cast away in an island. But I guess, after a while , it is good if you could be with people, it has social benefits. Once in a while, you can hike to the countryside to regain your focus. Remember, no man in an island,

Umm, it was four years. I think that shows one reason why 'more people around you' is better: because--by yourself--you're pretty-much bound to think you're always right; but other people have no problem correcting you---their self-esteem doesn't hinge upon whether you're right or not. I think that's one reason I'm alone: because my behavior isn't guided by 'what people think of it' or 'who-all sees what-all I do.' But--when you're all alone--you're perfectly right ... as long as you don't need any help (getting out from under something, carrying something massively heavy, working on the Internet etc)
