is it okey for a girl to smoke?

As far as health goes, Its not ok for a woman or a man to smoke. Men are prone,as well, to many illnesses that could come from smoking. Not just women. Taking health out of the equation, Any person, being of legal age should be able to do whatever they want as long as its legal, and they are not hurting anyone. I personally don't like for anyone to smoke, especially around me. But I don't see it any worse for women than men

No, it isn't okay for a girl to smoke, just like it isn't okay for a guy to smoke. Gender shouldn't have anything to do with it. You're a guy, right? Do you smoke? If you do, why would you think it's okay for you and guys in general to smoke, but not girls? Wouldn't that be a double standard?

smoking can be unhealthy and can eventually cause illness that doesn't matter if that person is a male or a female. it is more of knowing that is good for us and what is not good. we are on a world where man and woman are equal woman can compete with man and vice versa but what is important we all know what is best for us and we don't harm ourselves with what we do. hope this helps.

for me its not it looks awkward to see them smoking not just the girls but even the boys i dont like... their just making their life short.

no,in india girls will not smoke except very few people.smoking is not good for health.and in india girls are far from smoking.parents will not allow them to smoke.

whether it's a girl or a boy, it's not okay to smoke. complications are really dangerous. maybe, smokers don't see it yet 'cause the effect will be manifested years after. it's really life-threatening, lung cancer is a serious thing to deal with. short-term effects would be gum problems, bad enough. so i wouldn't think it's not okay just for girls to smoke but also for boys.

if it's ok for men to smoke then it should be ok for women to smoke too. i don't care... it doesn't bother me at all.. my dad is a smoker and always has been so i've grown up around it... my brother is a smoker.. i have a lot of friends who smoke and most of them are females. I used to smoke myself kind of.. never really got into it but i would have one every once in a while to help with stress... however if you aren't talking about cigs thats another story

As you have told it is not good to see the women are smoking especially in public places. They are look like a gangsters outside. But i cannot considerate it all. I mean to explain is public smoking. There are girls that are smokers but they make it inside the house or in private places. They make it not to disturb others by their smokes. And many are hate to smell the smokes especially if they are in a public vehicles. Once in my life I use to smoke but it was when I need too. One thing, smoke is not good to pregnant women bad for a fetus inside.

Smoking is a disgusting habit no matter if it is male or female....but its more risky for females especially if they are pregnant it has lot of damage to do...so why spoil others life also....this matter has to be taken seriously .

I don't think that it is ok for anyone to smoke, guys or girls. Smoking is very unhealthy not only to the person who is smoking but also to the people around the smoker who breathes in the smoke. Smoking is also considered rude by a lot of people because it is a really offensive odor that can ruin a person time when they are out eating food. I really hate it when anyone smokes and think that all people should try to quit for their own good.

It isn't okay for anyone to smoke. I mean, the way it stains your teeth, makes your breath smell bad, the smell of stale smoke stays in your hair, clothes and fingertips. All in all, just really gross. Have you ever kissed a smoker? Like licking an ashtray!

Smoking is bad for your health. it doesn't matter if the person who is smoking is a man or a woman for than matter. It is not only the women who should lead clean, healthy lives. Men should not smoke too and they should be "good" in what they do too. As to being conservative, women are free to choose what they want to be. They do not have to be "conservative" if they do not want to be.

I find disgusting when both man and women smoke. The smell is awful, their fingers and teeth are yellow all the time, the breath stinks. When older, their skin, specially women's, is paper like. Of course you can not tell anyone what to do with his life, but we all know that's not good for the body neither.

I personally prefer a girl who doesn't smoke because I do not smoke. BUT, a girl has the right to smoke or not, there is no rule against it. As for health, we all know the consequences of smoking whether it is a male or female. I think girls are a lot more attractive if they do not smoke though.

I see no problems with women smoking!!.. Well if they dont mind getting cancer as the men do.

hmm.. i also don't like girls that r smoking. im a girl but still i cant stand watching them as they do. just as much as i dont stand men that r smoking. most probably girls who smoke has a different way of life.
