Which movies are on your must-see list?

It happens every year about this time - the studios release a whole slew of new movies and I find myself totally dazzled by them all. So far, my list includes Frost/Nixon (I'm a political junkie!), Spirit, Doubt (with Meryl Streep! Oh, yes!) and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. How about you? What movies are on your "got to see it!" list?

I guess I'm from a different generation, there are several old classics that I like and purchased the DVDs for them. Some of my favorites are Dr. Zhivago, Yanks, Revolution, Braveheart, and The Spirit of St. Louis. There are several newer movies that my wife and I like, some by Bruce Willis, Denzil Washington and Al Pacino. We like the action films.

I haven't seen Prince Caspian, but it was the first of the Narnia books that I read back when I was in second or third grade. I've heard that Kung Fu Panda was a lot of fun. My kids are all older, and they want to see pretty much the same movies I do - especially The Spirit.

Hi Chamel, My list is a little different than yours and my wifes. I'm a genealogist and history buff so I tend to lean in that direction. I've probably watched every Civil War and WWII movie available. We don't go to many movies anymore, we are trying to concerve, but we do belong to Netflix and get our movies that way. The only problem is it takes time through the mail and the brand new releases won't show up for quite some time. I used to belong to Blockbuster but dropped it a couple of years ago. Netflix has added "streaming movies" that you can watch without additional cost on your computer. I'm torn now between watching some college football on TV or choosing a "streaming" move on Netflix this afternoon. We try to send the movie back as soon as possible and get the next one back within a day or two. There's an old movie by Meryl Streep named "Out of Africa" I might see if that's available and watch it this evening. I've seen it before but I might watch a movie that I like 3 or 4 times.

I've considered the streaming movies, but my computer doesn't deal well with video streams so it probably wouldn't be worth it. Out of Africa was superb. It's one of the reasons that I love Meryl Streep.

As for me my movies "to see" wish list includes "4 Christmases", "Yes Man" (with Jim Carey), "Australia", and "Frost/Nixon". I love comedies and drama most when choosing a movie. This holiday season there are a lot of good movies for moviegoers to choose from.

That's a great list. 4 Christmases is another one that looks like it will be a lot of fun. I enjoy Reese Witherspoon so I just may get out to see that one.

I know exactly. The Tale of Despereaux, Seven Pounds (I love Will Smith), Yes Man (although I'm not so attached to that one), Marley and Me, The Strange Case of Benjamin Button, and lastly, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. Based on a movie show I saw today, I might also want to see The Wrestler.

There are a lot of movies I like that are of Hollywood and Bollywood. There are certain movies which are in my must to see list such as the high school musical 3, Goolmal returns and other such movies which are fun to watch. I also wanna see the new Hindi movie Dostana, people say that it is a great movie. Then I would also like to see new Disney movies which are on my must to see list. Disney movies are the best and are very good for viewing with the whole family.

You're right - the Disney movies are always great fun. I have a friend who "borrows" kids to go see them in the theater with him so that he doesn't get funny looks about going as a single adult.
