Avast is great! updates daily and is free. whatever you do don't get nortons. it turns into a virus itself.

AVG is proabably the best free antivirus program. I've used it and never had a problem. Just type avg into your search engine and you will find the site to download it from. There is also a pay version, but the free one works just as well. It will protect your computer.

Antivirus by itself is not enough. You need antivirus, antispyware, and firewall; and ideally anti-drive-by-download as well. What version of Windows do you have?

I use Avast. The free version works very well, and it updates itself daily...
