How Do You Sleep?

Scientists say that the position you sleep in each night says a lot about who you are as a person. So what does your sleep position say about you? Here are some basic sleep positions: Fetus Those who curl up in the fetus position are described as tough on the outside but sensitive at heart. They may be shy when they first meet somebody, but soon relax. Log Lying on your side with both arms down by your side. These sleepers are easy going, social people who like being part of the in-crowd, and who are trusting of strangers. However, they may be gullible. Yearner People who sleep on their side with both arms out in front are said to have an open nature, but can be suspicious, cynical. They are slow to make up their minds, but once they have taken a decision, they are unlikely ever to change it. Soldier Lying on your back with both arms pinned to your sides. People who sleep in this position are generally quiet and reserved. They don't like a fuss, but set for themselves and others high standards. Freefall Lying on your front with your hands around the pillow, and your head turned to one side. Often gregarious and brash people, but can be nervy and thin-skinned underneath, and don't like criticism, or extreme situations. Starfish Lying on your back with both arms up around the pillow. These sleepers make good friends because they are always ready to listen to others, and offer help when needed. They generally don't like to be the center of attention. How do you sleep?

Normally I try my best to sleep in the 'Soldier' position since its said to be very good for your posture and body. But some how I tend to switch over to the 'fetus' position and before I know it I fall asleep. So I guess, I sleep in the 'fetus' position best.

Currently being pregnant, I am on my left side for the most part. After reading the descriptions I am between a few of those. Log mostly fits me. With a bad back I get into the most comfortable I can.

I really don't know how I sleep at night. But before I go to sleep, I used to have pillows around me to comfort me and one pillow that I hugged all night, then 3pillows on my feet to hold it up. Then, when I woke up in the morning, I am in a different position. So, I don't know which is applicable to my attitude based from your descriptions.

I sleep on both of my sides. I rotate each night. I just have to find the right position thats comfortable to me. I can never sleep on my back or stomach I don't find that comfortable at all. It makes it worse.

I sleep in different position but friends and other people I used to sleep with whenever we have a group sleep over, they noticed that I sleep looked like a fetus. I don't knew it because I'm really sleep. And I'm not aware of it. They just laugh at me because I looked like a baby they said. hehehe! But when I have my period I always sleep side by side. I don't want my pajama got stained. HEHEHE... I can't sleep tight when I have my period it annoys me.

OK, well here is how I sleep... Since everyone here seems to care. I guess according to those definitions I am most often a "yearner" as I most often sleep on one side or the other while hugging a pillow. However, the truth is that I sleep alone because I have awoke in many a contorted position. I agree with whomever said that these descriptions sound somewhat generic and horoscope like, but they are fun to think about and uncannily accurate at times. I would be curious to know where you got these definitions? It also got me thinking about a few more questions regarding sleep? Like? Can others sleep in a room with the dark? What about blankets? I know that I will never get to sleep no matter how hot the temperature is without something covering me. I don't know why, I just don't feel comfortable until I have a blanket and if I'm not comfortable I am going to be too tense to sleep. So there it is folks, I've told the world how I sleep.

When i sleep,i often curl up my body like a fetus, this position enable me to feel more comfortable and relax myself better. But if i lie toward a same direction,i will feel tired,i have to switch the direction, then i will feel better. The fetus position is the position i often use,but i also use the other position, somtime i lie on the bed with my whole back toward the bed.
