Do you know GOD?

Hi Shiv, Yes, I understand and your English is getting better, keep working at it and thank you for sharing, both the wounded and here with us... You see what is in you is the important thing that we are looking for as in us we also have this spirit (Atma) and we need to encourage others. Evil and Sin is not an attribute of a true spirit of GOD, you think about that and the gender of GOD. Does GOD really have a gender? Do you think women have an element of the divine spirit? I do... That faith you have in him, it is a parental God that you believe in, I know of your faith but find your resources lacking. You can have a more personal walk with GOD when you find your GOD beyond the constraints of the walls that entrap the one you speak of. The Truth will certainly set you free. There is nothing to explain, your belief is personal and individual to you but your belief is obviously that belief that you learned from others and not of your own searching. My faith is personal. The way I understand what you were saying is that, I should find for the God that not have been handed over to me by other generations. But then I question, "Is the God you believe in different of mine?". I still believe on what my parents told me and the community told me. I have understood why is their faith that.

What I have found of a faith that is handed down is that most times people are imparting to us things that allow them control over our thoughts and actions. We are not free if we are doing the work of others because we feel an obligation to them in order to have a reward or punishment in a future as a result of how they control our present. Are you familiar with Plato's Republic? Start reading the first seven or eight chapters a theme and plan will be made known to you. From there you might be able to set yourself free to do the will of GOD a GOD that is good. Not because the generations before told you do this or do that, not because your community tells you to do this or that but because you know right from wrong. Don't follow their beliefs blindly, and develop for yourself your own belief and tell me how could your belief be such that your GOD would have a gender? Would your all powerful, pure and holy GOD have any gender features at all? Is one parent more important than the other? In order to have children we need one male and one female and she has to be fertile and he has inseminate her. So which is more important, male or female or both? I choose both and drop the parental gender of my GOD altogether knowing that GOD can not have a gender specific. But that is part of how I arrived at my personal belief. I only wish to share with you how I figured out what I believe. This was a growth process for me and I hope it also allows you to grow too.

Of course there is a man with long hair and a barber to cut it short, but what if the man with long hair could trim it himself there would be no need for a barber now would there? For those who seek the thru God can really find the thru God. But for those wont and not even try they will not really find the thru God they are just like blind walking in the dark. And if someone wants to seek the thru God you must seek it first within own oneself.
