I'm looking for a new interesting book to read. Anyone have some good suggestions. Any type of book will do truthfully. I'm kind of interested in finding one about a true story but anything will do.

Have you ever herd of In Cold Blood by Truman Capote. I haven't read it personally, but I have heard about it. It is based on a true story and I have heard that it is really good. Another author that I am crazy about at the moment it Margaret Atwood. Right now I am reading The Blind Assassin, which is really good, and I have read The Handmaid's Tale. Those are my recommendations.

I have never read Margaret Atwood. Those ooks sound good. I'm going to look for them at our library. I'm always looking for new authors to read.

I have a suggestion that's both entertaining and educational. The book is called, Dinosaurs in the Attic - An Excursion into the American Museum of Natural History by Douglas Preston. It's fascinating to find out how the museum was started and how many of the collections were gathered. It sounds like it would be boring...but it's really not.

These are fiction but they are good reading. The detective novels by james Burke and james Patterson. Try to borrow them from the library in the order they were wote so you can follow the lead characters life easier.

Recently, at a book festival I met Mike Farrell (he played BJ on MASH). He has a new book out called Just Call Me Mike. I have only thumbed threw it but it seems like a great book that I hope to get around to reading soon. My husband heard him speak and it was a very interesting discussion according to him. He thinks the book is bound to be wonderful. Also, I received some really great referrals on page turns in this discussion that I started; http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1804626.aspx. I hope I am not breaking a myLot guideline by doing this. I don't think I am.

You should read the 4 book series The Daughters of Fortune. It's set before and during World War II, and they're very good. They're Historical books with a shade of romance and religion on it, but it does not overshadow the story.
