How do you make more money on MyLot?

Firstly, congratulations on earning $20 Art! I know that you are very active here, but if you want to make more, add a photo to your initial discussion. Quality discussions will generate more interest and therefore more responses. Referrals will make you money if they make money! An active referral is a great asset! (Thanks Art, I appreciate you very much). Tags are important too - I have found I earn more when I post tags, than when I don't. Make quality responses to other discussions, because Best Responses get paid! Hope this helps Art.

wow, that's a lot already! i joined a few months back and have not yet reached payout. haha! maybe because i'm not as active :)

You can make few cents more if you post picture under your discussions and answer discussions as much as you can, edit your interests so you can find more and more subjects that you actually have something to write down, beside these enlarge your friend list and check their discussions and after opening a discussion and check back time to time and see if you got some answers and reply them as well. These are the only ways to earn in here! Good luck!

Well it depends on how long your responses are too. How many posts and discussions are a big factor in your earnings, but you always have to make sure they are relevant to the discussion and doesn't look like you are re-hashing things that have already been discussed in a particular topic, try to add more of your own opinions. And well if you are just on myLot for the money, my advice is to actually go out and get a part-time job since most people here don't expect to earn much, but for fun and the incentives are fun to earn too, even if it is just a few cents a day.

If you read the DOs and DON'Ts it tells you to participate as much as possible creating quality discussions and giving quality responses. So do just that. Don't start discussions about things nobody is really interested in or you will only generate a few responses. When you respond, try to make sure it's about something you have ideas on and are interested in. It's also important to read any discussion you reply to as well as the comments. What you don't want to do is waste too much time responding back to comments and certainly don't try to thank everyone. Of course responding back will generate friends in some cases but the most important thing is generating topics and responding to the original topics of others.
