So will you? It's nice to reward yourself sometimes. What gift will you give yourself this Christmas?

well I feel I can give myself the best gift by planning a vacation with my family. If i can do something for my parents that is the ultimate gift I give to myself. Lets just watch whether I can go for a trip in this time.

A trip with your family, especially your parents, is a great idea. Do spend time with your parents while they are still around. You see, I'm already an orphan and I how wish I could still do those fun things with them. Thanks a lot!!!

Hi aprilten.. Of course I will. It would be nice to treat and pamper thyself once in a while especially this Christmas. I actually bought last weekend some gifts for myself-- a converse sneakers and a sister's point winter jacket. The extravagant gift I am supposed to treat to myself is yet to come-- a holiday trip abroad with my beau and some friends or a LV bag i am dying to have for.

yes i will buy myself a christmas gift. i'm already got a couple of shirts myself plus i'll still get a pair of pants and perhaps a new pair of shoes. i do however want to get either a new psp or a new cellphone for myself, that will be my christmas gift for myself (i'm repeating myself, i know). lol! anyway, i work hard for my money and i know that no one else will get my a gift so might as well buy one for myself. anyway, i don't want to pass off as some selfish snob. hahaha!!! i've also gotten gifts for my daughter already and i'm still planning to get her some more. either another set of clothes or a trip to hong kong disneyland. i think the clothes will do for now and the trip has to wait until next year but i have set aside cash for the trip so that's all settled. i'm also taking her to a couple of carnivals this month plus we'll be visiting her favorite arcade. of course, nothing beats being together for christmas so i'll be spending more quality time with her this month. anyway, more than the material things, it's really the thought that counts this season, regardless if your giving a gift to yourself or to a loved one. happy mylotting! cheers!!!

I always have to buy that store egg nog and chip away at a piece of fruitcake. These things seem to be a must in order to get me into the Christmas spirit.

If we think that Christmas mostly more on giving gifts including to myself, I think I can give gifts to anyone I love to give anytime of the year cause I would be thinking that Christmas for me is everyday. In giving gifts then, well it depends on the availability of my money, specially nowadays. We have to be budget wise to surpassed what we experience now global crisis. Rewarding myself? I always do it everyday of myself. How? Every time I got a jackpot on my work and earn an extra cash on that, I will give reward on myself. I go to my favorite food chain and ate my favorite food. Buy something that I like most. In this way I am already rewarding myself...so go on if have plenty of money you can give gifts and reward yourself always, even everyday of your life, can you give me also? Cheers

You're right Christmas is not just for giving gifts. It should also be a chance for us to be with our family and visit some friends and relatives whom we don't get to see often. Thanks!

If only I can afford! I would love to have a pair of Alod shoes but I just could not bring myself to purchase one. I have been on budget mode since December of 2008. I work for an American company and the economic recession really hit us hard! A lot of employees had been laid off, and it's just so sad because it's christmas time.

I'm sorry but I am not familiar with Aldo shoes. Is it such an expensive brand?

For an ordinary person like me, yes it's an expensive brand. Their pair of shoes starts at $70-80, and that's a wee bit high for me. Their items are of quality though, so I bet it's worth the dough.
