Your childhood Christmas'

When I was young my Grandparents would stay and me and my sister would wake them up and open our stockings moving round the rooms, it was great. The day would be spent having a late breakfast due to dad working (hes a farmer), then we opened our presents, i always watched top of the pops and then parents/grandparents went to sleep and we would play for a wjile before having turkey sandwhiches, Xmas cake etc for tea and go to church!! i had such a great Xmas when I was a child. . . . what about you?

I have many wonderful memories of Christmas but some of the best were when I lived on a farm with my family. We would open our gifts on Christmas eve...then Santa would come that night. On Christmas morning we would get our Santa gifts...then go to church. Sometimes we would go to my grandmothers in Iowa.....depending on the weather. We would have a great big Christmas dinner...and spend the rest of the day just relaxing...and playing games etc.

Thanks for your response, I hope my son remembers his Christmas' as being good when he is older!
