What did you do during the long weekend?

Aidhul Adha has come and gone. On Saturday I went to Mydin USJ to exchange a learning toy. Apparently there was nothing wrong with it. It was fussy with the type of batteries that should go with it. On the way back my 19 year old son drove the car. Even though it was already past 10pm traffic was still considerably heavy. On Sunday and Monday I stayed at home due to early stages of conjunctivitis. Anyone willing to share? Did you go 'home'? Did you do anything or just watched the TV? Did you encounter any heavy traffic?

Oh yeah, I think everyone especially for those in malaysia should familiar with that situation.. Btw, during last aidul adha, my parents were performing their pilgrimage Hehe.. Btw, I learn many thing from that situation as my brothers and sister and I have to live with our uncle or auntie.. I know it's hard at first, but as time goes by.. I think we can suit ourselves there and tighten our relationships... I was "homeless" during that moment.. Sometimes we live with our unlce, and sometimes with our auntie.. Depends on their "avaitbility" But I know, it's truly indeed to say that it was "joy+sad+weirrdo!" experinced!

Uhm, basically revamped my schedule, instead of the 8-5 thing spent on school, I went out with friends till the wee hours of the morning, played basketball, cleaned the house, picked up some slack our school finals project, met up with old acquaintances and that. Pretty long weekend, tired yet fulfilling, cheers!

It does feel nice after having completed tasks that were put aside due to a busy week. Some people are good at dividing work schedule and keeping to it. Did you paint the town red?

On Saturday I mostly stayed home with the baby. I did go visit a friend but she lives two blocks away. Sunday I went to the store with my husband and my mother in-law to buy diapers and other stuff. As for TV, we always watch the news almost everyday.

Any interesting news over there? Over here a big coverage was given to the landslide that covered an area of around 4 hectares. Seven people were feared killed and 5 deaths have been confirmed. Between 1,500 and 2,000 people are trapped on one part of the hill. Well not actually because the area can be reached by foot but the pathway created is unstable. Thank you for your response. rosdimy

I didn't have a long weekend. I felt the weekend is too short for me to go somewhere and have a good time. I just went to church on a Sunday, spend the whole day hearing from the Word of God. Then during the lunch, we had a very short picnic at the park with my kids. Oh how I wish that the weekend will be longer that I may spend more time with my family.

Once in a while we do get a long weekend. When you get it, make full use of it. It would seem only yesterday the kids were kids, and now they have grown up. Sometimes I wish I had not the mistakes made in not having quality time with all of my children. Now regrets do not get me anywhere. All I get is a small ache in the heart. Thank you for your response. rosdimy

Where do you go swimming to? Do you swim in the sea, the river, or a swimming pool? I usually go to the sea because of the air. As for clean sea water there are still parts of my country which have clean water and surroundings. In certain other parts it is no longer fun swimming or taking a dip there. all the best, rosdimy
