I did believe in Santa until I was about 8 years old. My brother blew it and told me there wasn't any such person that Mom and Dad placed the gifts under the tree before we woke up. He claimed he saw them do it. Our kids also believed in Santa until someone at school told them basically the same story. It was fun while it lasted. Now our grandkids believe in Santa and can share in the joy with their parents.

It's devistating to a kid to find out Santa is mom or dad. No more big, fat, fun man that leaves presents! Thanks for giving me the best response.

Of course I believed in Santa, didn't every kid. I believed in Santa until about 5th grade when my parents told me he wasn't real. There are also so many television shows about Santa to make it seem all so real. So, yes I did believe it Santa. It added much more to Christmas, a more mysterious thing.

I did believe in Santa and for a very long time too. I was crushed when I found out he was not real. Christmas was never the same. The magic of it all was lost, until i had children of my own. I let the kids believe for how ever long they want to. Its just something I never would say to them, that there is no Santa.
