Have You Ever Faked Your Cellphone Reception.........

There are plenty of times when I'm on my cellphone and the reception is just terrible. I either get cut off from the person I'm talking to or it's just so bad that I have to hang up. However, sometimes the reception is great but I really want to get off the phone with the person I'm talking to. I have on occasion faked my cellphone connection with the person by saying that the connection is breaking up and I can't hear what they're saying. Might sound a bit cruel but sometimes it has to be done. Have you ever faked your cellphone reption to get off of the phone?

I was wondering if I was the only person to have used this deception to end a call. It isn't that I don't like some of the people who call me, sometimes it is actually someone I love, but sometimes I just don't feel like talking to anyone...LOL

Exactly how I feel. Some people are just harder to get off the phone than others.

Yeah I know what you mean. I usually just don't even answer it if I don't feel like talking, but depending on who is calling, sometimes I feel like I at least need to answer it just to make sure everything is ok...

No one ever calls me so I don't get to fake a call. I am just glad someone remembers to call me. Cheers!!

I just never pick up a call I don't want to receive and then later I excuse myself by saying I didn't realise the phone was ringing. This way is much better than faking reception because the person at the other end will hear your voice clearly and can guess that you are faking it. The best deception is one with the least chance of getting caught! Not that I'm a deceptive person but still that statement holds!

Well usually with our cell phones one person sounds fine on the one end and then the other end turns up all choppy. Thanks for responding.

Hi shar19.. I never experience such but whenever I have a call that I dont want to talk to the caller, i just dont answer it. I just send an sms afterwards or whenever I remember to do so that my phone was on a silent mode. Talking to someone and I need to get off from that conversation, I think of an excuse like I have to do something that is very important and etcetera. But as much as possible I do it on a nice way. Happy mylotting!

No, I've never done that... Whenever I wanted to or needed to get off the phone, I told them straight out that I need to get off the phone, or even want to get off the phone... All my family members & friends know this & never expect other wise... All these years, they know how I am & they know that if I want to get off the phone, I'll tell'em honestly...
