does virginity matter?

In North America, Virginity or lack of it has not mattered since Columbus discovered America in 1492. Who needs the Embarrassment of a Painful, Bloody, wedding night, when - with a bit of experience, it can be a Delightful and Happy Adventure? The pain and blood of the Virgin and the Stigma of an Arranged Marriage is something very very few Westerners have ever experienced. Thank God For That!

Here in my place virginity matters most to a boys but the to me when I got married I never noticed if the guy was virgin. Like my husband I never think he was a virgin because it doesn't have the sign of virginity in him. Virginity talks about the faithfulness of a partner. It talks a lot to most conservative people. But if one person is in love virginity doesn't talks, no matter if they are virgin or not or have experienced or nothing or if they have children already. As long as they love each other.

to me it doesnt matter.it depends of the mentality of each country sorry i think religion not mentality. people grow with a predifined idea of this and sometimes they manage to change it but in most cases they dont.

well it doesnt matter to me what matters to me is the person who i loved most. virginity is just only a 1percent to me. what matters to me is she loves me and accepted me from who i am and what i am. so i will forger her past what matters to me is the future that were gonna spend for the rest of our lives.

This matters much in India... coz, most of the girls and guys are not bothering about their viginity..... coz, nowadays, every cinemas shows some kind of bed room activities, so we cannot expect one should be virgin.......

I don't think society nowadays really care about virginity anymore. In fact, we cannot tell whether a guy is a virgin or not. Well, I think I don't virginity really matters to me. The important thing is that whether he is the one I love.

well personally for me virginity dosent matter more than trust.. but when u say that a girl/boy lost his virginity it shud be such a sense tht he or she was in a relation and lost it there not in a one night stand...i personally dont find one night stands right..

In my oppinion, it doesn't matter if your partner isn't virgin, but it does matter if he/she is. If in the first case, you will tend to focus on other attributes he/she has like personality, intelligence, charm, etc in the second case is an extra responsibility you have to take care of. Being his/her first partner you have to make sure that the experience itself would be memorable, in a good sense. And let's face it, your pride would be fed by the feeling of being the first to explore your partner's sexuality. Lack of virginity doesn't represent a problem at all, its presence creates a strange bond between partners. (According to many studies 80-94% of the women fall in love with their first partner, and remember them all their life).

well im also a virgin but im not bothered if my gf is a virgin or not as it wouldnt change my opinion of them.

No, I think it s not important at all. It s more exciting to prove some good moves in private than to act as you know nothing. Yeah, maybe it s about purity, to know that he/ she hasn t belong to anyone else, but I don t think this stuff really matters if you love the other one.

Hello akangirl! In my case, I think virginity still matters. That's the only gift we can give to our husband during the wedding night. I never had any boyfriend aside from my husband so he thank me during our wedding night because he now prove that I waited for him for 3 years of chatting online.

Does not matter to me...there has been too much hue and cry over this topic..we need to understand that there are different cultures and people around the world and they have different customs ,beliefs and practices...to a analytical mind these customs or practices may mean absurd but to a believer they are everything...

no it doesn;t matter.nowadays teenangers who are still virgin because they dont have an opportunity not because of their religion.it's more difficult to find someone that is still virgin that one that is not.
