I just curious about in which way you call it, a movie or a film? That's may not important. But I just guess is it movie used by most of Americans and film is an English way people use? Or something like that? Or it is just up to people' preference? I am curious about it, and if you have got the anwser, thanks for sharing.

I always call them films. back when silent films were launched, they were referred to as Movies, short for moving pictures. when they developed films with sound, they were called Talkies. so to me, a Movie is a silent film. I just call them films.
