I have never read the Twilight series of books, nor have I seen the movie. But I know that many people are pretty much obsessed with the stuff. It's become a big craze, and I have had sevral people trying to convince me to read the books and then see the movie. I just don't think that a book about vampires strikes me as something that I would be really interested in reading. So who out there has read the books? And can you tell me why you think I should read them?

I love the books, and I'm looking forward to the films release. the thing is, like all the best vampire stories, it's not a horror story. the best vampire stories are invariably love stories. this is no exception. the fact they are vampires isn't that crucial to the story. just that they are not human. they could be anything faster, stronger, immortal and with the appearence of an exceptionally attractive human. there is little about their diet in the stories. they aren't the best written books in the world. they are very cliched, very very cheesy, but they are also utterly charming, and very hard to put down.

I've read the entire Twilight saga, and enjoyed the books. I went out and watch the movie with friends twice and had fun during the experience. However, I'm not crazed about it. I didn't even buy the books, just read them as e-books loaned from the library. As for you reading it, it really depends on your taste of books. I like paranormal romance novels, (that is romance stories with vampires, werewolves, demons, fairies, etc in it), thats why I checked out Twilight. I find it rather tame in comparison to what I'm used to, but then I expected that because it is originally written for young adults. I mean, if a cheesy teenage love story between a human girl and a vampire is your thing, then feel free to read it. If not, they are millions of books out there that you can pick up that might be of interest to you.

Well i'm not addicted to Twilight but i am enjoying making Twilight calendar designs. Haha... I think if you watch the movie in theaters (like i did) it has somewhat of an after effect even if you don't like it. I didn't really enjoy the movie because it is meant for teens. Actually i wrote a movie review of Twilight, if you want you can read my review first if it could help you decide on watching the movie, but in regards to reading the book... well i won't be reading the book. I didn't like the movie so why would i read the book right? Here's my movie review: http://www.cinemaroll.com/Cinemarolling/Twilight-is-Indeed-Meant-for-Teens.384463

Well it all depends on your taste, twilight is just a book about love (its basically a chick book [n idk if ur a guy or girl]). Its about fining love where u least expect it and then having to deal with it through many different ways. I liked it cuz personally i like romances and vampires. Again as i said before it all comes down to if u really like the genre.

well, i love reading books but im not into vampire stories though i have read anne rice's interview with the vampire when i was in my college years.but out of curiosity i asked my mom to bought me one, the Twilight..after reading the book well, quite interesting its not because i love, love stories but its because theres a little twist with the story that after reading the book youll keep on wondering how things would end..so, im looking forward with my next book..
