According the a local news station in Orlando, duct tape was found covering the mouth of the body believed to be Caylee Anthony. The remains that were found are not just bones...tissue, hair and fibers were also found. There is tissue left, which apparently is what the duct tape is stuck to and the duct tape could not only have preserved some of the evidence because it's waterproof, but also could contain evidence such as fingerprints on the sticky side of the tape. Quite a bit of evidence was taken from the Anthony home last night, including four vacuum cleaners, two pesticide containers and many large bags & boxes. It is hoped that a cause of death will be able to be determined that that the presence of any chemicals used on the child will be able to be detected.

I think most of us mothers follow cases wabout children who are missing. Although not living in the USA I have seen and listened to reports on this case. It is a nightmare and I feel sick as to how that little baby suffered before dying. I feel the same about any child. Children really are a gift for such a little while whilst they live with us. We are to love them not brutalize the. Although it is alleged that the mother did it and we have to wait until the trial, the evidence seems to be overwhelmingly powerful that she had something to do with it. If you don't want a child then give it up! You don't have to kill the baby. I am sure that her grandparents would have taken the child. But Caycee;s parents seemed to have changed their tune re the smell in the car etc. May the one who did it be tried, brought to jusrtice and incarcerated for the rest of her/his life. Blessings

Sounds pretty gruesome. I hope her family didn't do this.

I am so disgusted by this. I am really disgusted with Caleey's grandparents!! I understand protecting your child or not wanting to believe that your child could commit such an act. But the minute the grandmother changed her statement that the smell in the car was rotten pizza I got pissed off! There is no doubt in my mind that this woman knew her daughter was involved at some level. And Casey's father is a retired deputy. They can't tell me for one second that they were sure she would be found alive and have me believe them. They let this go on as long as it has when they could have helped. People want Casey's life in exchange for killing (if found guilty)her daughter. If the grandparents had not ignored the evidence that would eventually bring us to this tragic outcome then Casey would be getting the help she needs even behind bars where she clearly belongs.

I hope that they are able to find out who did this, well if the mother acted alone I should say. It's so sad. Thanks for the update we really don't get those types of details up here.

This case has been such a sad one. And one that makes me furious. If she didn't want the child she could have given her up for adoption. What makes me even madder is I think the grandparents have known what happened and pretended otherwise just to cover their @sses. From things the grandmother said on the 911 call and in interviews I think she knew, and chose to protect her daughter instead of doing the right thing. I think they should all be put away and throw away the key.
