How often do you trim your nails? toenails? kids nails? cats nails?

I am asking cause i always seem to have long toenails, I hate to have them long, but i have even more to trim them!! I have stabbed ppl with them, I have stubbed my baby toe and broken the nail almost completely off. but still i dont learn.. my subconcious for some reason refuses to let me take advantage of any free time i come across to cut my toenails!!

I go and have a pedicure every 2-4 wks and they cut my nails down for me. I also have pink and white acrylic nails on my fingers and they grow fast too and I need to go every 2 wks religously or they get tooo long and I can't function. My dogs get their nails clipped every 6-8 wks.....My son gets his nails and toenails trimmed every sunday night after baths. I think that the vitamins and supplements that I take make my nails grown faster.

Well I look at it like its the ONLY thing that I do for myself. I have a child whos in school and plays lots of sports and demands alot of my time, so to take a hour or so for myself that is what I do. I like to just sit and be pampered. After all that is what I do all the time for people in my home.!!

Hi Sissygrl, long time since you been here, hows the baby doing?
As for my nails, I really don't think much about it, but I can guess.. On my fingernails, since they usually chip before getting too long, I only cut them as they chip, so it is at different times I cut my fingernails. My toenails I think is once or twice a month, especially now that it is cold, they grow slower. The dog and cat I think is also once or twice a month.

I can't remember the age of your older one, 3 or 4? They usually don't take naps at that age, I remember well.. I do however remember the baby is 9 months old, since she was born on my anniversary this year. She probably is loving all the holiday lights..

The cats gets theirs done about every other week. I do mine when I have to lol My son bites his nails (which I have been trying to keep him from doing for years).

I keep my toenails cut because I hate long toenails they hurt my feet when I have on my shoes ( that is maybe why I like to go around in my footies Ha Ha )My finger nails I try to grow them long but they almost always break off

Go directly to cut your toenails, do not pass go, do not collect $200, go directly to cut your toenails. Did that help? LOL
I trim mine on a need to basis, if I feel my little pinky toe nails are getting long it is time to trim, because if I don't I know I am going to smack them in to a wall, and split them in half and I hate them.

LOL I don't need to trim my finger nails. I have been biting them for years. As for my toe nails, I look at them once every couple of weeks, and give them a trim.
Funny you should ask today. I was teasing my husband about the length of his finger nails. He went and cut them right away. I said they were worse than the cat's. haha

You don't want to know! Seriously though. I get to where they are bothering me and then I cut them. I know I should cut them sooner, but I never think about it and then I get way to busy, and I just completely forget. But there will always come a time when they will actually bother me and then I will cut them.
