did it ever you do that? i did and i missed the first hour of work. i woke up at 6am by my cellphone alarm. i was a little sleepy and i have 3.5 hours before work so i just laid my head on the pillow for a few minutes of meditation. yikes! i went back to sleep with my cellphone alarm off... and the next time iwoke was already at 9.10am and too late to rush to work at 9.30... i learned my lesson now.... better keep my cellphone snooze on until i am fully out of bed....

Lol It happens to everybody once in a while! So, don't feel too bad about it. =) Missing the first hour of work is not that bad, as long as it does not become a habit. I am sure your boss will not fault you on that if you have been punctual regularly. So don't worry too much about that okay? =D Yes, it's a lesson to be learnt. It had happened to me many times during my 1 year 2 months of corporate life. Lol, however the lesson learnt from that was to find out that corporate life is definately not for me. Hehe, too bad it took me a year to find that out for myself. Lol. Many times, I have been late for work for half a day reaching work only at 11 or 12pm, even though I am supposed to start work at 9am. This resulted from me waking up only at 10am or so. Hehe, I just can't help it but to take that extra nap even though I know that I am going to be late. But luckily for me, my work performance has always been top-notch and so, even though my bosses are not too pleased with my punctuality, I am lucky up to now that I am not fired from my job. For me, even keeping the snooze button does not help. This is because I love to sleep in too much, and keep thinking that I will still make it for work if I were to take that extra 5minutes to sleep in. In the end, I would end up sleeping for an extra 2 - 3 hours instead of just 5 minutes. Lol. This goes to show that both you and me are just humans. Hehe =D

I never oversleep and I never miss work. I wish I could just stay in bed sometimes although it gets boring with so many things to do outside. Cheers!!

I did experience this. My work time is at 4am.. I adjusted the alarm at 3am,but i snooze the alarm so I woke up 4:30am... My team leader texted me because absence was not allowed that day. I still managed to take a bath and it ended by going to work at 5:30... Lazy,huh?.... that's life... we have the right to have mistakes.. One of my mistakes is this...hahaha...

Just once in my whole life I did that. It was really embarrassing because over 50 people were waiting for me. Oh, well! Another time I was working on a project and concentrating so hard that I forgot to go to a meeting. But that is not bad considering how many years I did not ever miss work.
