Does anyone write for ehow.com? I'm thinking about signing up for it but they want your tax info like social security number and such. I just want to know peoples experience with it. If it's legit or not. Thanks!

I started writing for them at the end of September. Three months later I've earned over $200 from them. They are legit. I share my progress with eHow here: http://www.nojobformom.com/2008/10/21/my-ehow-experiment/ I would suggest giving them a try.

I have a friend who swears it's awesome and says that even when she's gone for a few weeks she comes back to see more hits, friends and money! I am tempted to join but I got so many sites, although I think I might try it out over my christmas break. I did sign up, but I didn't give the SS# yet. I hate sites that want that up front, I'd rather than pay me first to prove they are going to. But having a friend who has gotten paid makes me more likely to try it. I haven't decided yet :) I feel like I can write a lot of the same stuff for Associated Content so I usually think I should build in one site instead of spreading out all over. As you can see, I haven't decided which way to go yet :)

According to my research colleague, it is very legit. The problem with it though is that, it is only for US residents and they don't pay for contributions of people outside the US. He says he is getting a good income from it at the moment so it is legitimate. I am from the Philippines so I can't verify it personally since I am not allowed to join as a paid contributor. But this friend of mine is a pretty good source so I think it is worth a try.
