No invite for USA summit in south America

No invite for USA for summit of South American countries.Obama needs to fire every diplomat in the State Department who is responsible for our failed South American policy and appoint a special envoy who is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese to restore the Monroe Doctrine. Bush was too preoccupied with Iraq and Afghanistan or drunk and ignored South America. If we do not wake up quickly, we will have serious problems in South America. What do you think of this problem

Obama will continue to do what all of our presidents over the last century have done. He'll make his friends ambassadors. I can't remember the last time a president actually appointed a diplomat or ambassador that actually spoke the language of the country they dealt with if English wasn't the native language.
