When do you give up?

I'm a very determined person. If I want something, I really go for it and keep trying. However, there are times when you just have to give up because you'll never get the thing you want. When do you know to give up?

I give up when it looks like there is no hope,I usually give it a good go first.You have to know when to give up or you can make your self ill and get obbsesive behavior can set in,like I say give it a good go,but learn to know when to stop and how important it is.
