How much would you spend for a Christmas gift?

"It's the thought that counts". I have heard that a million times. Please don't answer with that cliche. Lets be realistic. In this times that the world is experiencing economic problems, how much would you spend for a Christmas gift? For friends, I would say 500 pesos and below (equivalent to, more or less, $10). For the more important persons in my life, sky is the limit, hehehe. How about you, guys?

Generally, i would like to think that my working budget would be $10 maximum. But if i can find more savings, like more inexpensive than that, i would go for it. Practicality is what I have in mind. P300 would do.... For really, really love ones, expecially for my baby, yes, definitely sky is the limit. If I can only remove the sky, then there should be no limit! he he he =)

Babies do like to throw stuffs. That's in their nature. Hehehe. I just could imagine your baby throwing that stuffed toy out of his crib. Babies are really cute. Just being a baby is cute. What more on the things they do?

Yes, I already have a baby. A one year old very cute baby boy. I gave him a stuff toy: BJ. - BJ is a friend of Barney's. It cost around P400 in Trinoma. My baby loves it at first. But later on, he loves throwing BJ around! he he

Hi! 300 to 500 pesos would be enough for me. I would be able to find better buys for that budget. Of course I could work it out if I have bigger budget but for now, I should stick to that. If i find a lesser price for a better gift, then It would surely be great! I can go find some more also if I have enough time to scout for gifts, not like today that I am already rushing days before the Christmas day!

You will find some gifts for you to give. It takes patience and a little imagination to find one mariaisabel. Happy shopping!

I'm about the same as you for now, 10 and below, pretty much. It depends on the person and what to spend. I am using the money I have earned on the internet to make all of my Christmas purchases, which I did early on eBay, and everything has arrived and is ready, though I think my mom was poking around in my room and might have saw hers already! On people I am not really attached to, or on people who I am not going to be receiving anything from, I will most likely go less than five dollars.

10 dollars is a nice round number. Even in gift buying, you use the internet! That's nice Sheepie!

I've spent almost $100 on my parents. That's a lot I think because I haven't spent that much on them for Christmas, but I wanted to buy them something really nice this year so I spent a lot. I've spent almost $100 on my boyfriend too just because.. He'll probably get me something expensive too. My younger sisters will have about $50 spent on them each (there's 2 so $100 for both of them) I'll probably spend more because the sales at the malls are crazy on Dec 24!

That's very thoughtful of you vanonas! Those are very expensive gifts, I guess. What did you buy for a hundred bucks?

hi ethanomthemoon, for the people I am giving a gift for the first time thn its usually around $5. If its other family or friends, it depends on weather they gave me something last year and if they did thn I'll probably match what they gave me if if they didn't give me anything thn I'll only spend less than $2 on thm. As for my parents, the gifts I usualy choose for them Is priceless. Its usually the kind of thing they have always wanted but they never get it for themselves. This year its a holiday for two.
