The best and worst of 2008?

Hey guys,
2008 is almost ending...so thinking back over the year, what do you think was the best and worst thing that happened to you in 2008?

I guess the best thing that happened to me is I got some recording software and equipment that has revolutionized my songwriting. And the worst I guess is that I've dug myself deeper in debt, oh and the root canal I just got, ouch! And it also cost a lot of money.

No question about it -- the worst was the collapse of the economy, which buried so many people in its rubble. The best part was the hope for the future embodied in the election ofBarack Obama as our next US President.

As I see it, he couldn't possibly be worse than his predecessor!

That's for sure. I read his book. "The Audacity of Hope." He has some good ideas and he seems like he really cares and wants things to change. Whether the Old Boy Network will allow him to change things remains to be seen.

I changed jobs to a higher level management job within the nursing field and I love most aspects of my job but it's also a lot to deal with and I am no longer happy and considering a career change. So that move is both the best and worst thing that happened this year.
