Hi buddy what the topic that you posted was directly referred to me as i am a luggage freak. I take up lots and lots and lots of luggage even for a short vacation. I don 't know why i do it but i see at things and i feel that they are must. i main content of my luggage are generally books rather than clothing and all those stuff. i am a student who always want to excel in studies but end up with a good grade but not a very good one. here i take all the books to my home and i think of reading the whole thing in and out but i don't do it as much as i have expected. i am taking loads of books this time as well and i don't know what i will do this time. Lets hope that at least this time i do it well and end up with the best rank that i want to get. See you then. Happy Mylotting.

I usually bring 1 duffle bag for short vacations/travels... Well, if you count my laptop & brief case, I guess it's 3 but since we're talking about vacation, we'll only count vacation baggages... When I travel for business, it's not that much different... Like I mentioned above, only 2 other additions are my laptop & my brief case... Last time I traveled over seas for 3 weeks was close to 10 years ago when I went back to Korea for my brother's wedding... I had 1 duffle bag... 3 pairs of pants (2 jeans & 1 dress pants), few t-shrits & 1 dress shirt, underwares, socks & few other personal items... Hotel I stayed in provided brand new tooth brush, tooth paste, soaps & pretty much all the other hygene stuff so I didn't need to pack that... I rended a tux for his wedding so I didn't need to pack that... 1 night, in laws & my brother's side of the family (mom, me & my sister) went out to restaurant & dress pants & dress shirt took care of that... I travel very light...

I prefer travelling light. My luggage weight and size won't be something that I cannot carry around comfortably. Moreover I travell alone most of the time and to different kind of places. Sometimes I need to go through situations where I might require a long distance with my luggage. So I play safe by carrying only those things in my luggage which are of utmost importance to me.

I try to take as much as I need for my trip and at the same time remember the baggage allowance on the plane if I am going on one. For my last trip overseas, a two week independent exploration of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, I had much baggage because I had things for my young son. I had much difficulty of packing because my one bag had to weigh less than 15kg. When I went camping in the countryside this summer I had all my dog's food and my luggage was a lot for a short trip.

When I travel by air, I take one carry-on bag. I figure those people in whatever country I'm visiting probably won't ever see me again, so I don't have to dress for them. That way I can take fewer clothes.
