Do you have Firefox as your default browser?

I find that it does open a bit slowly, but I prefer the way it works, so it is my default browser. Microsoft don't seem to be doing a hell of a lot to catch up or fix their security issues, either.

Some guys at work are using Ubuntu and loving it! I'd like to try it, but I am worried I won't find software for my ipod, phone and camera.. :) Does Ubuntu talk to Windows Mobile devices?

Thanks for all your help! My biggest issue is my phone. I want to the OS to be able to 'see' the phone as an external drive as well as sync my email, contacts and todo list. I am running Windows Mobile 6 ( standard version ) on a Samsumng i600.

Firefox is my default browser on both Windows and Linux. I only use Internet Explorer when browsing some website that don't support Firefox. But when I'm on Mac OS I used Safari. Safari is a little bit faster than Firefox. Still Firefox is my favorite browser.

I can't recall ever finding a website that wouldn't open up with Firefox, but I have found some that have features or plugins that didn't work with Firefox. I am sure that developers will get better and better at making everything everthing work seamlessly with the more popular browsers around.

well, FF is a very friendly browser , with so much add-on and plugins that IE does not even begin to touch, and these are embedded into FF, while the near but distant similar ones for IE have to be installed an run separately , therefore, i do have FF3 as my default browser, not just that, but i install it along side a set of add-ons i use daily, everywhere i go and use the internet, at friends, family, internet cafe, spread the good word, ya know???

Hi there Dave! In this computer that I am currently using, I don't have firefox so Internet Explorer is my default browser. But to other computers here in our internet cafe, including the server, we have firefox as our default internet browser. I like Firefox better too.

I'd like to say that I am a big of Firefox.I use it when never I surf the internet. So of course it's my default web browser. It's a little slow to start, but then you can enjoy yourself on the web.And because I often use different computers,I now use Firefox Portable. It can be installed in a usb device, this makes it easier to use Firefox wherever I am.

hello there friend... well, just like you, i also set mozilla firefox as the default browser in my computer... i'm pretty much loyal to windows internet explorer a long time ago... but suddenly the performance and the speed gets very very slow... that's when i opted out from internet explorer forever and come to mozilla firefox platform... it's very fast browser i ever had... it downloads pretty fast... i think it's one of the best internet browsers available!!!

I love firefox although is abit slow to open, especially if you have allot of plugin. Firefox is an open source program, therefor you can customize it to your own requirement. Lots of free plugin and add-on. IE on the other hand is more to being control my Microsoft. That's y i don;t use it as my default user. One function I love most about Firefox was when you close the browser, it will as you whether you want to save the current setting, so that when the next time you open Firefox, you can go back to your previous opened page
