how many kids do you want when you will have your own family?

I planned on having three children. I ended up with four. When I was a young girl I always said I wanted three daughters as I had two brothers and no sisters. Well I ended up with four daughters.
I did miss having a son, but my eldest daughter had a baby boy a few months ago, so I have a little grandson to help look after now.
That is awful you have no free education. We get it free here but we still have to pay for uniforms, books, colleges, meals at School and funds. It has been hard to do with four children, so I think two for you would be better.

Education is not free in my homecountry. Maybe there are some public schools but you still have to pay for that. Its not that expensive but only elementary and high school got a public school. And its not a school that provides quality education.
Good for you that you have 4 kids. And i think, you have raised them well. Hope I can do the same to my future kids. Thanks for the response.

At the moment I am thinking that I would like four. My mom wants me to have more because she wanted to have a big family but was only able to have me since I am her only child I am her only chance for grandchildren. I wouldn't mind having more, but like you said expenses can be a problem, not just school costs but also prices have been increasing rapidly so the cost of food and other living costs is becoming a challenge for many people in my country right now.
