How do you manage a girl friend that is controlling?

Do you ever have a friend that is soooooo controlling? First thing in the morning it is her name that I saw in my inbox message,asking to go online so we can chat and when delayed of responding on text she is so upset,we chatted everyday, and when she saw me online, and not answering her outright, she gets angry... I don't know guys if you can relate,I just hate the feeling that I feel obliged to talk with her, I just don't understand telling me I ignore her, when everyday, we chat,and when got off, she never forget to say, "ok done chatting, lets text. Everyday it is the routine, I told her already that she should not focus on me, and find some things to make herself busy. But gosh! She will just say, "fine". How do you handle a friend like this? I choose not to buy a load for my cellphone, so I have reasons not to reply, but she send me e-load.. Please help me guys!!!:((
