What Would You Do To A Guy If He Cheats On You?

I'mnot talking John Tucker Must Die or anything, but what would you do? I'm a bit of a screamer, but I know i'd be so hurt, it would be more crying than screaming, really. But what would a real girl or woman do? Flick him away like so much dirt, or teach him a lesson? I must hear an answer!

The problem with cheating is that the trust is lost and most times it cannot be completely regained so the relationship fails. It would have to depend on the seriousness of the relationship and how long I was with the man. My ex husband cheated on me and I tried to forgive him but things were never the same. I didn't trust him anymore...and I didn't like or respect him the way I had previously. So, the relationship suffered and I finally ended it.

I agree with you, spalladino. Trust is a really important part of the relationship. If you stay together, it will always be in your mind "What is he doing right now? Who is he with?, etc."

I would walk away. You are probably going to be more hurt staying in the relationship because you will be insecure and always wondering what he's doing. Trust is an important part of relationships, and that trust will no longer be there. I have been cheated on before and we broke up and got back together. When we got back together, I was not happy and I did not trust him at all, so when the relationship ended for good, I was relieved. I would rather be single than be in a relationship where someone cheats on me. Getting cheated on doesn't do much for your self-esteem.

I would be really hurt. Even though I would probably still want to be with him, I don't think I could. The best thing would be to just end it right there.
