Would you like to go somewhere warm?

It is cold in Europe, Canada and the USA. So I dream of going somewhere warm and will be going to Cape Town in January. My trip can't come soon enough because the cold dark evenings are depressing. I have been to some lovely warm places that I have fond memories of like St Lucia, Belize, the Seychelles, the Maldives, Fiji, French Polynesia, the Cook Islands and Samoa. Perhaps it is time to look back at old travel photos and feel some warmth. Would you like to go somewhere warm? If so where? Are you lucky enough to live somewhere warm? Where have you been that it warm when it is winter in your home country?

YES! as it is zero degrees right now and my house is without heat or water BRrrrr I would very much like to go somewhere warmer.... nothing exotic and exciting as the places you mention - but South Texas would be good enough - that way I could also visit with my mother.

Yes, Jo'burg and Cape Town will be very nice when you are going to be there! I also have a soft spot for warm places and my favourite is the Dominican Rep, as I lived there for many years! It is not only the climate that is warm there, but the people as well! They have sense of humour and are always laughing and having fun!

I am not going anywhere warm just yet - my next trip is Florida in March and that I cannot wait for as I have saved for so long and waited nearly two years to take this trip but, it will be a trip of a lifetime so I cannot wait!!

Everyone says that I live on one of the warmest places on Earth, southern California, honestly, it has been in the 40s, 30s, and 20s in Pomona and the surrounding cities. It is just getting way too cold in California.

I like to be warm also. I like Arizona and Texas. Can we do some travelling together? Or maybe we will meet in a warm place like a sandy beach. I will be the one watching the cute guys with my binoculars. LOL

Hello maximax. Right now I am still working far away from my hometown in the south. It won't be long before we start to have our winter vacation. By then I will go back home to spend the winter vacation. It is warmer in my hometown than it is where I am working. I am looking forward to the holidays.

I would rather go to a place where it is nice and warm but not hot. i hate sweating. it makes you feel miserable. I rather like winter to hot summer. At least you can put on clothes and feel warm in winter, but in summer you can't possibly take off all clothes and even if you do, you will still feel hot and sweaty.

I'm in Singapore, and we do have warm weather all year round. I would not call it lucky as we depend so much on air conditioning which contributes to the green house effect. It's the opposite for me, I'd like to go somewhere cold this Christmas.

I would say that I'm lucky to live in the Philippines where it's always warm. We don't have winter here because we are a tropical country. The summers (March and April) can be hot, but in December-January, the air is cooler but not the cold that you experience in winter. The weather is still warm but not too warm that you would be sweating. For us locals, we would feel cold, but for foreigners who live in colder climates, it's just the right temperature. I have friends from Canada who are spending the holidays here. They're going to Boracay, a very popular white sand beach here. We actually have 7,107 islands so there's a lot of beautiful beaches here. Why don't you consider the Philippines as your next destination? It's a country that's not just warm in climate, but the people are warm, too! =)

I would love to go to the States, like to New York City. For obvious reasons, Alaska is out. It might not be that warm but at least it would be better then here in Manitoba. I cannot stand this minus 20 celcius plus weather. It sounds so bad I even changed the weather thing on Firefox to Fahrenheit as it does make it seem a little warmer. I would also like to go to Florida, but it would cost a bit too much. Besides my husband cannot do much traveling because of his stroke.

I live in norway and it is certainly not warm here, though not too cold at the moment either. I would like to go somewhere that has temperatures around 20-25 centigrades. One year we had a months vacation in febuary. We went to New Zealand, Australia, singapore and Bankok

I would love to go somewhere warm. I absolutely hate Canadian winters. I;m not much of a winter person. If I were able to go somewhere warm right now, I'd probably have to say the Caribbean. Anywhere where there are beautiful beaches and such. That's my ideal place. But realistically, I know that that's not possible. Not this winter, anyway. So, I'm stuck with winter, in Canada. Hopefully, I'll one day get the chance to escape winter, even if it's just one winter. That would make me happy, very happy.

Yes, I would like to go to Spain. Because cold weather and darkness outside the window sometimes can be so boring and cause depression! I hate this one.
