Brrrrrr....It's cold here

In Ohio we usually have pretty cold winters but they start usually in January not December. According to the weather we have wind chills of -34 degrees. We had snow and ice on Friday so it's all blowing everywhere and power is out in a lot of areas luckily we still have power. My uncle is here from the Philipines and freezing, he said it was warm when he left, poor guy.
Is it cold where you are? Is your weather unusual for this time of year?

Tell me about it. Yesterday our pipes froze, so for several hours after waking up, we didn't have water to even flush the toilet with. LOL
The windchill makes all the difference. Despite the low temperatures (not beyond -10 yet), the windchill goes all the way down to the minus 20s. It'll be some time before it starts warming up here.

I'm sorry your pipes froze up, I hope they didn't break. The place I lived before this house my actual sewer line froze up along with the pipes, that was really bad. Good luck and try to stay warm.

It's 45 here today but we will continue to have snow much into April, I remember hunting eggs in snow drifts 
. It must be very nice to have it above freezing most all the time.

Where I am in manchester UK, it is normal weather for this time of year - rainy and cold and some days really windy and horrible!
It is at times of year like this that I wished I lived somewhere with snow because then it would feel more like Christmas!! : )

Lol! Gosh its been that long since we had a snowy Christmas here I can't even actually remember having snow for Christmas!!!

You can borrow some of our snow, we have about 8 inches of snow and ice on the ground. We are suppose to have snow all week and then ice for Christmas Eve. It has been a few years since we had snow on Christmas.

It's pretty cold where I live too. But I've seen colder. I was in Winnipeg last week, and it was -40/45 degrees Celsius. In Montreal, it's warmer that Winnipeg, let me tell you. So, I can't complain. However, it's still pretty cold with the wind chill.

Our weather here in Texas has been crazy. Sometimes I just wish that the weather would just stay either hot or cold for a while. But yesterday and today it has been quite cold. But according to the weather, the temperature is going back up. Yeah I have a friend up north and she told me that it was -4 degrees were she was and they were informed that they could not go outside because if they did they would get frost bite. I love cold weather, but that is just too cold. I was telling my husband yesterday that maybe we should move up north because I'm tired of this unpredictable weather.

Our weather is just as bad, last week it was 52 the very next day it was snowing and 20 lol Today there were a lot of school closings due to the cold weather. I just can't wait until spring when all it does is rain.

Extra blankets, long underwear and maybe some down filled coats lol Try to stay warm!
