I attached a pic to my posting for the first time and lost my avitar?

Help all For the first time today I added a pic to my discussion that I just started as I just now realized we could post pics with questions and responses. Anyway, I uploaded my clip art and posted my discussion as normal. Then, I look at my postings my profile everything I have on the site, and my avitar has disappeared. I had uploaded a picture of myself for my personal avitar and now it is completely gone nor can I find it a link to update or change my avitar in any way. In fact, not only am I not able to upload my own picture I can't even seem to find a link to choose a clip art picture already here on Mylot. What do you think? I'm confused, I had an avitar of my self until I uploaded a pic to one of my postings, then it disappeared, poof!Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, has this happened to anyone else? What can I do about it? Help, I've lost myself and need your help to find me! (my avitar for this site, bad joke I know.) Thanks, any responses will be appreciated.
